This is the theoretical entry platform to most fitness courses. This course covers the theory and practical aspects of anatomy, physiology, injuries and nutrition.

Assessment is by means of a multiple choice question exam done online.


Personal Training Short Course:
This course is designed for learners with a career path in "one-on-one" training. The prescribed textbook - Your Personal Trainer. Brooks D. Human Kinetics - covers the theoretical and practical basis of physical wellness from the personal trainer's perspective.

Assessment is by means of a practical simulation and the submission of a case study project.


Group Training Short Course:
This course is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career-path in teaching group classes. A series of manuals covers the theory and practical aspects of group class formatting and design with musical accompaniment.

Assessment is by means of a practical simulation of a mock class format.
