This course covers the theory and methodology of water-based exercise prescription and its application to group class formats with musical accompaniment.

Cycle Reebok Short Course:
This course covers the theory and methodology of indoor cycling class formats for group instruction environments, using musical accompaniment.

Dynamic Flexibility & PNF Short Course:
This course is designed to provide participants with an advanced theoretical understanding and a practical knowledge base in flexibility training and the multiple applications of this training to general and performance exercise contexts.

Martial Arts Short Course:
This course is designed to teach learners the philosophy and methodology of high-energy martial arts class formats for group instruction contexts.

Reebok Flexible Strength Short Course:
This course is designed to combine flexibility and strength training movements in a dynamic class format that will elevate the principle of mind-body-soul to a new level of meaning.

Rep Reebok Short Course:
This course covers strength training by utilizing various kinds of resistance equipment to produce an effective and challenging workout for group contexts with musical accompaniment.

This course introduces learners to the many exciting applications of the ball to exercise prescription for the promotion of core stability and strength. Applications include one-on-one and group contexts.

This course introduces learners to innovative and exciting exercise programmes that are structured around the activity of walking and that can be utilised for a broad range of client needs.

ENTRY-LEVEL SHORT COURSES
Fundamentals of Human Body Science Short Course:
This is the theoretical entry platform to most fitness courses. This course covers the theory and practical aspects of anatomy, physiology, injuries and nutrition.

Assessment is by means of a multiple choice question exam done online.


Personal Training Short Course:
This course has specifically been developed for learners that are considering a career path in Personal Training (i.e. as a ‘one-on-one’ fitness professional). The course has an initial theory-driven component which flows seamlessly into a second component which is more practically driven. The first phase is the Fundamentals of Health and Body Science. This is also a stand-alone entry platform qualification for the Wellness Industry and is recognised by the major health club service providers as their minimal requirement. This component is assessed by means of an online Multiple Choice Question assessment. Both components are directly aligned to the prescribed textbook – NSCA’s Essentials of Personal Training. At the end of the course, a simulated practical assessment is scheduled, which is conducted on each learner’s pre-submitted case study. A minimum Due Performance in both assessments is required in order to qualify for this be awarded this qualification.

Group Training Short Course:
This course is designed for learners who wish to pursue a career-path in teaching group classes. A series of manuals covers the theory and practical aspects of group class formatting and design with musical accompaniment.
